harvest time

    Thinking about how we just get all caught up with the daily grind & forget about what is really important.I know we have to put bread on the table but seriously  life is going by in a blink...My kids were little & I thought they would be that way for  so long...Now they are grown up & I have granbabies...whoa where did the time go.
             I guess the next few blogs are going to be about what is really important.  Jesus is coming back & I know the one thing for me is that I want to finish well.I want to hear those sweet words..."  well done good & faithful servant, enter in to eternal life".  I don't want to be ashamed to look at my Savior with my head down cause I know there were people I was supposed to witness to.
          Jesus took a terrible beating & sacrificed His life for us, not so we could sit around enjoying our  lives.I know He wants us to be happy & enjoy things..but He died at a cost.
You do not belong to yourselves..you were bought at a price...that price was the life of  Christ.  We owe Him our lives.... Now go have fun & round up some sinners.
 If this is  offensive then let me know..Im only trying to hear what you think......I wait

being a christian

Okay here is the discussion group...this is your turn to tell me what you think....

What does it mean to be a christian?
Is going to church a social club or is it  for worship..?
Do go by a manual like the bible or do you go by what others do?  Just wondering what you think....Thanks for being part of it

I just want to add this...there are so many who  have lost their lives to this disease and I would like to lift up their families & say in behalf of those who passed...I thank you from the bottom of my heart & what you did for them. You just don't know the peace & reassurance you gave  them. I'm so greatful for family, friends, and the body of Christ for standing with me through this horrific ordeal.My husband I  can only hope I can bless him someway.What an honor that you took care of those who couldn't care for themselves.
    Father I lift up to you each & every family or friend that lost loved ones to this disease or other diseases. I pray give them peace, joy, love, and take away the emptiness from their hearts.Their loved ones would want you to live & be happy.Walk with the Lord so they will one day reunite with you in heaven. God Bless You all.  Jesus  is the  way 

KUMC staff

     Went to the hospital about 8:30am..signed in & wheeled back to the room.

Seen 5 or 6 people,Maureen  see her each time..growing accoustomed to seeing her.I will miss her when its done. Dr. Barohn, very nice...always seems to be looking out for anything that will help your quality of  life.Speech therapist  Karen, She being  a fellow brethren in the faith..appreciate the encouragement.Always love knowing there are brothers & sisters in Christ working together.Each one of the ladies were very nice.Social worker , Physical therapist..I think thats it.Oh my sweet lady that takes my blood each time I go, she is the BEST at taking blood.Another fellow believer! Some of it was sobering, talking about whats up the road ahead..don't care for any of that, getting a wheel chair end of life stuff...not gonna happen.Gary is so patient  waits on me . So glad he with me in this. Know one knows how hard it is on him, not even me. I love you so much babe.  High light of the day..speech therapist wanted to see my tongue...started laughing ..couldn't stop.I know they all no its part of disease but it gets to be contagious if you laugh..they all started to laugh..cool
Well blog more later..gotta thiink of some funny stuff.
Really greatful for all the wonderful people that work in this hospital.KUMC  Kansas  University Medical Center..great people

road trip

Well here it is Sunday morning 8:10 am..Heading for Kansas..just got back yesterday from West Virginia.Went with my buddy Sharon & we had fun all the way. Visited with her niece very sick..prayed for her.Viola Sharons sister..what a blessing. FUN FUN....
So me & Gary heading for Kansas & the Lord gave us a beautiful day. Thank everyone for your prayers..hope its a good ,prosperous trip. well write more later........
